Jalazone camp was established in 1949 on 253 dunums of rocky hillside 6 kilometers north of Ramallah. Most of the original refugees came from villages in the central part of Palestine following the 1948 hostilities. unemployment has risen in recent years due to the closure imposed by the Israeli authorities on the West Bank in 1993 and 2000 The camp is situated in "zone B" under joint Palestinian/Israeli control.
In 2006 was establishment as non profit organisation Under the Palestinian authority regulations to help the people In Jalazone camp and surrounding villages (In addition to the Jalazone camp includes surrounding villages “around ten villages and tow camps”) . As continuity to the great success a new AL-Yasser center building location was established in Jalazone camp, to be the first center in Jalazone area for that activates. AL-Yasser center looking to make new partners with organizaition from any where to go directly to our Aims.
