  • AE, formació i serveis socioculturals, is a nonprofit association declared of public utility that works for the promotion and dissemination of education in leisure and cultural and community revitalization.
    It was founded in 1984 as a municipal Leisure school educators in the City of Manresa. In 1987 it became a non-profit association formed by people linked to education in Bages centers of leisure.
    CAE performances are structured into four areas:
    1. Training: Leisure education (monitors, directors, premonitory, resources ...), gambling and games and associative organization and management and volunteer training
    2. Programs and cultural activities and youth services: youth information ManresaJove Service, The Youth Centre Kampana,
    Game Club, cultural activities and community revitalization
    3. Educational services: Educational activities in schools, children and youth holiday activities
    4. Bank of Educational Resources and Publications and exhibitions
    CAE organizes activities for a wide typology of audience: children / as, families and young people, adults .... During 2014, more than 15,000 people participated in the different activities, services or programs organized by the association.
    The CAE has a team of 20 members and partners volunteers who organized much of the cultural activities and community revitalization. It has a technical structure consisting of 7 people who develop various programs and services that support the work of volunteers.

Tasks

CAE, formació i serveis socioculturals, offers EVS young people three projects of intervention. Depending on the interests and abilities of the young people, they can participate in a single project or a combination of the three projects. 1. Project Youth Information Service of "ManresaJove". These activities are implemented in secondary schools and youth environments. In this project two professional people are involved. EVS will be integrated into the team and participate to preparation and implementation various service activities, without , assume responsibilities own team. The tasks will be developed: Collaborate in tasks of communication, design and dissemination activities of the Youth Information Service "Manresa Jove", Assist in the management and administration of a youth information point. Project 2. The Kampana Youth Centre. Situated in old town of Manresa where live an important part of immigrant groups. CAE works to open this center to all young people of Manresa. This project involves two professionals. EVS will be integrated into the team and participate in the preparation and implementation of various activities, such as: Collaborate in the usual daily chores and Casal, assist in the organization and execution of extraordinary activities,... 3. Xarranca project. Children's activities. The Xarranca is a foundation created by CAE for the organization and management of educational services and leisure. The main activities are in the school environment, throughout academic year, and holiday activities. The person from EVS will be integrated into this team and may participate in the preparation and implementation of the various activities and services. Target of this activities are children to 3 from 12 and teenagers. In all projects the timetable will be 30 hours per week.

Criteria

Age: From 18 years (inclusive) * With ease of interpersonal communication * With motivation and ability to participate in teamwork * With organizational skills and planning * With ease of adaptation Those volunteers will be prioritized with training in the field of design, computer science and new technologies, as well as those from the socio-associative environments, youth politics, non-formal education, etc. We try to encourage the creation of international associative networks that enable collaboration in the development of individual projects of entities and collaboration between entities beyond the end of the stay of volunteer.
