    Help in saving the Kenya's biodiversity and environment which is facing major threats. Your contribution will help community’s tame desertification, protect ancient rain-forest, save water resources and help local communities to access clean water and air, for sustainable development.

    The Project: Kakamega Environmental Programme, western region of Kenya which is fours hours drive from Nairobi the capital city. The project is open throughout the year and volunteer can apply anytime and volunteer the time volunteer want i.e 3 weeks, 1 month, 2 months etc to one year.

Tasks

Environment Summer Placement Help in saving the Kenya's biodiversity and environment which is facing major threats. Your contribution will help community’s tame desertification, protect ancient rain-forest, save water resources and help local communities to access clean water and air, for sustainable development. The Project: Kakamega Environmental Programme, western region. Volunteers will have to pay for thier airfare and program fee 0f 250 Euros per month, since this is not EVS funded.

Criteria

Willingness for expedition to Kenya an African Country Willingness to work with Tropics Volunteering Program for in-country training and dedicate time to learn

Procedure

Willingness to volunteer and be outside your country over the age of 16 willingness to live with a different culture passionate about environment Volunteers can come in groups, family, couples, friends no limitation
