  • Location: Ha Giang, Viet Nam
  • Deadline: 10/08/2017
  • Start: 11/08/2017
  • End: 11/08/2018

  • You can work with our Vietnamese supporter by:
     Going to a farm and experiencing local life;
     Visiting homestays and helping with their daily tasks;
     Providing English classes for children in life skills, culture exchange, etc.;
     Organizing outdoor activities with children; and
     Playing the role of 'tourist' so children can practice being tour guides. They will take you show you around so in your free time, you can discover surrounding landscapes. You can take a motorbike to enjoy the more adventurous journeys like going to Sapa, visiting waterfalls, caves, and amazing rice fields.
    Experiencing traditional life in Vietnam, seeing hidden corners of the country, discovering beautiful cultures of ethnic minorities…are these things you are looking for from your travel? If so, join us on an adventure to help local children and local people in the north of Vietnam and discover beautiful mountain tribes, villages and historic places.
    We deploy our projects in very remote areas where the living standard is low but the traditions are rich, and where there are hard-working people who are very positive and have a firm belief in a good life. These places need our help to make improvement. At the moment, YESD is designing a program in Tha village to help build capacity for local people, especially the children who have difficulty accessing proper education, English language training, and life skills. This experience is valuable for each volunteer and their support could contribute to ensure sustainable development in the hill tribes. From our activities, students can broaden their knowledge and enhance their language ability through or non-formal teaching method. Volunteers play an import role in our project, and the knowledge you transmit to local people could be the precious materials to they need to fully develop their ideas for developing their hometown.
