STAJ Touraine is part of the STAJ network, which encompasses 9 structures in France. The main activity of STAJ is non-formal education. It trains youths for the BAFA, certificate for socio-cultural workers, and BAFD, certificate for directors of socio-cultural structures. STAJ is also a sending association for the European Voluntary Service, it organizes intercultural encounters with the Youth in Action programmes and it develops local intercultural trainings. STAJ supports also projects and helps young people to build and lead their projects.
STAJ Touraine has 6 employees and about 250 members.
