JUZOOR Foundation for Health and Social Development - Jerusalem Youth Parliament works on empowering youth through forming a youth body that was found in 2007 to be organized as a union of one mutual educational, social and national attitude in the Palestine community through democratic mode and non-formal education. The youth parliament of students actions are basically centered at schools and universities that are considered as one of the most important social institutions in the community. Young people are always in need for such the Jerusalem Youth Parliament program, which basically focuses on themselves and their concerns. Hence, young people are very interested to involve themselves in such this program which gives them the opportunity to express themselves, widen their relations and achieve changes in their community. The youth parliament now has more than 30 schools that participate in all youth parliament actions and planning. As a result, the total number of young people have been involved in the parliament reaches more than 450 members. And, the total number of young people have participated in the youth parliament non-formal educational activities during the last four years is around 13700.
