  • DNS is a necessary education for a rapid changing world, preparing you bringing up the next generation in living and acting in the 21st century world, a radical program that put tradition education on its head. Our aim is to train progressive teachers who can respond to the challenges of our time across social divisions wherever it is needed – and that is everywhere.

    Bringing up and instructing children and youth to learn the skills and acquire the knowledge and wisdom they need to carry the future of humanity is no small task. Teachers are needed who know their trade, who possess a modern perspective of today’s world, and who are willing to push the boundaries of tradition in search of ways and means of teaching and learning that will genuinely provide the new generations with the practical tools, the ethics and the human qualities they require to be able to take on life; as individuals, as progressive citizens of their country and as modern inhabitants and caretakers of the globe and its beings.

    The DNS education is designed for the would-be teacher to gradually realize, develop and refine her talents. To live a full life in the college, on the travel, in the European city, in the schools and among all its flowering people. DNS offers a lifestyle and a learning process driven and nurtured by the group – the team of DNS‐students and their teachers – the common ground they build together, the decisions they make in unison and the big results which stem from their midst.

    DNS is for anyone who has his heart set on contributing to the improvement of the condition of the many. DNS is for those who believe that education is the best tool for change. People with interest in teaching, in activism, in all what has to do with development. People with interested in discovering the world, live and work with others, truly challenge themselves and the futures. People who want to develop their cooperation skills, their multi-tasking and problem solving aptitudes, their creativity and the ability of using hands, heath and head.

    DNS offers a 3 years program leading to a Bachelor in Pedagogy in collaboration with One World University.

    Program healines:

    - 4 months bus travel through Africa
    - 6 months experiencing the European reality
    - 8 months teaching practice
