“Veterans of the Youth in action programme are in desperate need of face to face contact with each other. Contactinfo; Youth professionals from the North and the South, the East and the West need to meet. Five years of hard work have passed, many beautiful contacts between citizens in the whole of Europe have been established, inspiring projects have been implemented and lives are changed because of this. Together they worked with youngsters in many different time zones in Europe. They experienced cultural differences, grown from them and build bridges among Europe. And now, like real veterans are supposed to, they long for the past to become the future once again; Reconnected….”

After five years of experience in the Youth in Action programme we want to reflect together on the determining aspects of YIA projects and on the experiences that made the difference in our lives and the lives of other participants. The seminar will create an opportunity to evaluate and re-establish our partnership, share our experiences and discuss possible ways of further cooperation. During the seminar we wish to reflect on the topic of non-formal education in order to find out how non-formal education can strengthen social, cultural and economic capital of young people.
By preserving and sharing the knowledge of so many experienced partners we want to empower the next generation of Youth in Action experts and all young people that can benefit from this program. In order to establish this the CMS will create the opportunity re-connect and strengthen our “International network of youth workers, specialized in youth empowerment and social, cultural and economic entrepreneurship”
