  • Looking for partners, especially from Slovakia and Czech republic for a youth exchange for young amateurs of ski jumping, aged 13-25 years. The exchange will take pleato in Tatra Mountains.

    The camp includes not only common practice
    led by trainers. We are committed to intercultural exchange of knowledge, experiences andviews on the "ethos athlete" in each country, sports education in schools and in society, aswell as local youth initiatives aimed to developing their passions andtalents. Preparation forthe winter meetings, and then its continuation, will be the joint creation and moderation of a website for enthusiasts and young fans of ski jumping with both countries.
    In the group of Polish participants are boys aged 13-19 years, living in the region of Warmia and Mazury - far away from the mountain areas. A few years ago they initiated the
    construction of their own amateur ski hills in home villages, where they were training their
    skills alone. Some of them have organized amateur championship ski jumping, which arrives
    every year an increasing number of guests. They keep in touch with like-minded passionates
    about the whole country. Their dream is to develop their passion, enhancing and promoting it as an alternative to an active and interesting leisure activities for their peers.

    The project covers 100% of the costs of accommodation, food, trainers rewards, etc., and 70% of the travel expenses of all participants. The project is submitted to the competition in the Youth in Action, Action 1.1 of the Youth Exchange. The decision about grant funds will in the first half of July.
