  • This project aims to create a space for debate and reflection to promote participatory democracy among youth. Previously, we try to internalize some of the basic principles of the European Union and some minimal knowledge about its operation. It seeks to promote active youth with a strong conscience and sense of belonging to Europe to increase citizen participation from: first, to present some of the tools of participatory democracy, and more specifically the European Citizen Legislative Initiative, secondly, develop skills and skills to identify problems in the young participants, from participatory techniques and formal education and, finally, the search for solutions for them from the foundation of tolerance, dialogue and diversity. Ultimately, the project aims to develop European awareness and participatory culture.
    Our project focuses on the distribution of European soil after successive enlargements of the European Union (EU) have set up a map with different regions not only economically, but also culturally. The different stages of accession to the Community have contributed to an awareness and a sense of belonging to Europe is at different stages of development. Thus, countries that have been part of the creation of the European institutions give the beginnings of the Community, such as Germany, do not see Europe in the same way that countries like Spain later incorporated.
    The main objective of the project is:

    Develop European awareness and participatory culture.
    The project will achieve its main objective from three specific objectives:
    o Increase European consciousness among young EU
    o Increase youth participatory culture
    or To publicize and promote the use of instruments of citizen participation especially Citizen Legislative Initiative (ILC) - Regulation (EU) No 211/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 February 2011 on the citizens' initiative.
