‘Lead - Debrief! – Soft skill training for youth leaders’ which will be submitted by Outward Bound Romania at the Youth in Action agency for the deadline February 1st. The training course which will be held in Romania is designed for youth workers, social workers, trainers, youth leaders and everyone interested in developing competences in outdoor leadership and soft skills. The course is based on outdoor activities, as hiking, bike expedition, canoeing, by putting emphasys on creative debriefing of the activities. The main goal of the training is to learn how can we turn activities into learning experiences. Debriefing is a method of questioning participants after the activity in order to „digest” the experience. What is debriefing, how do we plan it, when and where do we use it, how can we costumize it for our learning goals and for our target groups: this will be the red thread of the training.

Dates: August 31- September 10, 2013
Place: Sovata, Romania
Eligible countries: EU Programe countries
Costs: 70% of travel, and 100% of food and accommodation will be covered, as well as all the activities within the program. Participants will be required to pay the remaining 30% of the travel costs and the travel health insurance.
