  • Foundation for Alternative Education "ALE" in Polish is looking for a partner for the
    10-month project of international youth initiatives. The Partner may be a non-governmental organization, school, sports club or other organization engaged in sports education.

    The project is addressed to girls aged from 13 years old, who are interested in football
    and who want to develop their skills in this sport. In both countries involved there will be
    established initiative group of girls (aged 15-30 years, 5-6people) who will be leaders of
    their peers and the main leaders of the project. In addition, care of adults,including athletic trainers, is planned and expected.
    During the project, the two countries conducted training for young footballers, but not only.
    Girls meet, plan and organize regular events promoting their passion of football in the
    local community, and more broadly, on the Internet – by jointly conducted, an international website. Both teams also exchanged cultural and national experiences in the context of sport, sport for girls and women and the stereotypes associated with women in sport. Final project will be a multi-day international meeting in one of the countries (in Poland) or in both
    countries, during which the team will play a common game, but also invite and lead trainings
    and sport competitions for the local community.
    In Polish group there are girls aged 13-19 years, living in the region of Warmia and Mazury (north-east Poland). Their dream is to develop their passion, enhancing and promoting it as an alternative to an active and interesting leisure activities for their peers.

    The project will start on 1 September 2013 and will run until 30 June 2014. International
    meeting is scheduled for May-June 2014 - a total of 5 days with travel. The project covers
    100% of the costs of accommodation, food, trainers, etc., and 70% of the travel expenses of all participants.

    The project is submitted to the competition in the Youth in Action, Action 1.1 of the Youth
    Exchange. The decision and the decision to grant funds will in the first half of July.
