"Culture performance" : you can make it happen !

This project is made by two volunteers who work at the JuKuWe in Leipzig.

With our youth exchange, we want to give young people the opportunity to get to know different cultures and ways of thinking. We want to give them the chance to overcome potential differences by attending workshops (theater, dance, video, painting) where they can express their personality and their culture and strengthen their self-confidence.

Here, the participants shall learn to work as a group and find ways to make this happen, to respect each other and to create a final performance together.

This performance will take place, as a symbol of their joint work, the newly founded community and the participant’s backgrounds and experiences.

We would like to work with young people between 16 and 20 years from all social backgrounds. The participants should have an interest in such kinds of projects and any kind of arts.

Together with our partners we will create the overall concept of this project. The participants will then be free to fill up the concept with their own ideas and conceptions.
