  EUROPEAN ELECTION – VOTE EU!
  Call for participants – Project on European election!
  Age of the participants: 18-30 years old.
  The project’s overall objective is to encourage the involvement of young Europeans in the democratic life of Europe, in particular by motivating them to participate in the 2014 European Parliament (EP) Elections. The participants will gain better understanding of the rights stemming from EU citizenship, perceiving the stakes in the construction of unified Europe. During the project, it will be given voice even to citizens from potential Member State in Balkans by involving them in debate. What they perceive to be the urgent issues relevant to the development of Europe post 2014? The project involves 10 NGOs from 5 European countries (Bulgaria, Italy, Poland, Romania, Croatia), plus the candidate country FYROM and a potential candidate country Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project events will involve 220 participants in total from 7 Countries!
  
  We’re looking for 5 participants (target group: citizens, youth, representatives of NGOs, relevant institutions, public authorities) to attend the event with 2 people from our staff.
  Dates: from 7th to 12th of May (the 6th and the 13th are travelling days)
  Activities: Citizens’ Discussion Panel; Promotional events and youth festival; Role-playing games on European Parliament Elections.
  Accommodation and full board will be provided by the Hosting Organization in Dobrich. In addition the project covers the 70% of the travel cost (round trip Italy – Bulgaria) up to the maximum amount of 460€ per person (70% of which is 322 €). Participation fee: 50 €
  
  How to apply
  Plese note: You can choose to attend only one of the events or both, between this one and the one in Zadar, Croatia – when you’ll send the application, write your option please (which event?or both of them?). The participation fee for both the events is 80€.
  Please send your CV and motivation letter to [email protected] by the 12th of Febbruary – object of the email: VOTE EU. The selected participants will be informed by the 13th of Febbruary. Then by bank trasfer
  The selection will be based mostly on the motivation letter, the interest and willing to be one of the 230 youngsters involved throughout Europe =)
