  Dear colleagues, partners and friends,
  
  Association “Georgian Youth for Europe” searching the partners for Youth Exchange Project “Eat Healthy, Think Healthy …. it suits you!”. (1st October Deadline 2013). The project will be realized in the frame of the Youth in Action 3.1 programme of the European Commission, seeks to bring together volunteers, youth leaders and workers to think how to promote healthy lifestyle between youngsters and also increase knowledge about food from different countries as a way to promote the communication based in non-formal education. This YE will involve also young people with fewer opportunities and show that learning about healthy lifestyle and health is not a subject of any restrictions or discrimination. By this, the project will help to develop solidarity and support tolerance among young people. Besides this, our YE will promote the notion of creativity and entrepreneurship e.g. by visiting an eco village and learning how to establish a small local business that respects nature and local traditions.
  Therefore the participants of the YE will exchange their experience, knowledge, make partnerships and discuss about ideas regarding the following issues:
  • Fostering mutual understanding between young people in different countries
  • Increasing knowledge about food from different countries
  • Breaking stereotypes relating to culinary traditions
  • Promoting European cooperation in the youth field
  • Promoting healthy lifestyles through healthy cooking
  Throughout the duration of the YE we will motivate young people to adopt a healthy lifestyle, and to transmit learned practices to their peers and community. As a summary of our YE we want to create a cooking book containing all the recipes used during the project, as an inspiration for young people to pay much more attention to their healthy lifestyle.
  We are looking for partners from programme countries and partner countries from EECA (Neighbouring Partner Countries from Eastern Europe and Caucasus Region). If you are working in the respective field, interested to join the YE and to support the project please send us back the partner agreement (signed and stamped) as well as the partner identification form by email to the following address: [email protected]
