"Participation Through Stories (PaThS)" project aims to make disadvantaged young people better acquainted with local politics and to encourage them to participate in democratic institutions through sharing literal works, stories, good practices and experience.

Project mobility activities will take place in İstanbul, Turkey and be implemented between 11-16 June 2012. During the project mobility activities, participants will meet with local policy makers in Pendik, learn about local democratic participation and experience it with role playing and forum theatre activities.
This project also will provide opportunities to learn about culture of Turkey and enable participants to meet, share ideas and come up with possible project proposals or build future cooperation.
We are going to submit the project for the Turkish National Agency of the Youth Programme on 1st November 2011.
Board and lodging expenses will be covered as well as 70% of your travel costs. Accommodation, food, local transport, trips will be free of charge.
Target groups are Municipalities, NGOs. Working language is English.
We hope training course will result in the future joint youth exchange projects. We hope that partnership in developing joint projects would be of some interest to you.
